just in case anyone was wondering, my profile picture is one i took on my trip this summer. it's one of my favourite pictures. it was taken in berlin, and if i remember correctly, i think it was just on the edge of a town square. i took a 8 hr walking tour of berlin based on a recommendation from another traveller, and it was excellent. our guide was showing us how every tree in berlin is tagged and numbered, and somewhere among these trees is tree #1. that's just a random tidbit she told us, she actually did know alot about the history of the city. i saw lots and learned even more about berlin. the company is called brewer's berlin tours. if you are going to berlin, check these guys out. it's the best 12 euros you'll spend.
